What's your ideal role within an organization?

In 5 years I see myself as a Managing Director of a Business Unit, of a company in the converging Mobile, Media, Internet and Technology industry. I want to take a leadership role to drive growth in strategic businesses.

How would you describe your time at NTT DoCoMo?

I currently develop new businesses and services based on open source mobile platforms, while managing strategic alliances worldwide to attain synergies and economies of scale for coming wireless technologies (LTE). I am the Key Account Manager for Group Telef??nica, responsible for P&L, budget, and forecast, plus management of all businesses and strategy for the account (top DOCOMO priority).

I also managed the marketing campaign (and the DOCOMO budget)for the launch of i-mode in the UK and Ireland, being responsible for the overall strategy, joint coordination of creatives, attracting 500K users in the first 180 days. i-mode launch became the second largest communication campaign of O2 plc. since its de-merger from British Telecom.

I lead the DOCOMO partnership with O2 plc. for the launch of i-mode and related services. I negotiated a strategic agreement, and project managed the roll out of i-mode services in three countries, UK, Germany and Ireland, simultaneously. And before that, I offered executive advice to my company on strategies to be followed for entry on high growth and emerging markets.

I offered High End Consulting on Vivo's strategy for business and network migration to 3G. Together with Vivo, we developed and successfully launched mobile video in Oct 2003, and Vivo was first to launch in Brazil. I was appointed to be transferred to the i-mode Global business team, based out of the NTT DOCOMO, Inc. Tokyo headquarters on Jul 2004.
