How would you describe your time at Metropolitan?

First line Desktop support by troubleshooting with users spending 4 min on the calls.Logging detailed calls on Intranet problem management system and assigned them into relevant department i.e Newlife , Odyssey, procurement , incident (for calls that affect everyone in the office).Good writing and communication skills. Reset users domain password (Metropolitan operates under za domain) reset cics , newlife , peoplesoft , newlife password .Remote access or
guide by solving outlook related problem, printer queue's errors, computer or notebook connection problems and wyse device (web base device) problems. Give feedback to client regarding existing calls. Logged blocked emails calls to be released, communicate by emails for client feedback.Assist users that connect into the LAN using metras , juniper or MTN 3G cards.

How would you describe your time at Dimension Data?

Hierarchal, setup stores network objects .Network and its objects are organized by domains, trees, organizational units and site. Uses domain system to identify a computer name (mac mapped into ip address) on TCP/IP .Group policy objects applied into computers and users .One or more domain with domain controllers that help the administrator to add and remove objects.Objects shared resources like servers , printer , network user and computers , just everything on the network.
When add users on active directory (add users name on the specific group that has the printer rights) add the user into the local administrators group. Troubleshoot, good writing and communication skills, Heat system. Server cleanup (delete mp3 or any not work related files on the users drives).Logged calls and assigned to technical support
or fixed them.
Using DHCP protocol used by network computer to obtained ip address and other devices like default gateway ,subnet mask and ip address of DNS server from DHCP server.DHCP ensured that all Ip address are Unique. Workstation protection by creating username and password .OU delegate administration of restrictions access to contain information.Conscious about the replications.
