What was your most memorable summer job?

My most memorable summer job was working with the state road crew. I cut and burned brush, flagged traffic, painted, lots of things. It was my first real job at the age of sixteen and I learned a great deal about responsibility and actual hard labor work.

How would you describe your time at St. Joseph's Hospital?

This was a great learning experience in the IT sector! I learned everything from building PCs and servers from scratch to DNS, TCP/IP and Active Directory to name a few. When my web and graphics abilities came to the fore I became the webmaster for the hospital having built the server from scratch, installing Apache, Windows Server 2003, MySQL and PHP. I set the server up in house so the savings for the hospital were substantial.

The bulk of my work was in a Help Desk capacity and technical coordinator.

While there I developed a number of applications for use in the enterprise including a chat program that allowed file sharing, a complete website and a booking/reservation system.
