If you won $50 million dollars tomorrow, what would you do first?
I would form three charitable foundations, establish a trust for myself, pay all known outstanding debts, buy a reliable car (and insure it), and get a small condo in a very nice neighborhood in a city that offered all of the essentials unique to my temperament and sensibilities.
Then I'd take whatever steps are necessary to get me back into law school so that I can study, successfully pass the courses and the Bar.
Then, I would make decisions about where I would travel. Or maybe I'd do the traveling as I got those first three matters handled.
This question asked about what I'd do first. The short answer is, tax and estate planning....
