What path did you take to your current career?

I was always interested in understand how things work and how things connect and affect each other.

I started my conversation with computers when I got my first at age 13. That was an Atari and I quickly moved from BASIC programming into machine code in order to write some application and
games.

I have written code and applications for various peoples and company and at landed my first job at Geo interactive (later known as Emblaze Systems) as a C++ developer (where I earned the nickname "the eraser" for my knack for finding and fixing bugs). I've quickly moved through the ranks (team leader, department manager) and became a software architect after a couple of years.
I've continued my career in Shunra software and later at Random Logic as their System Architect for their online gaming platform.

I enjoy taking a new problem, breaking it into its various components and to look for the best solution: software, system, network and resource wise.

How would you describe your time at Random Logic?

888 is an online gaming company which serves thousands of concurrent customers and provides a rich and fulfilling gaming experience. 888 is a public company traded on the London open exchange. The company has revenues in excess of $100M annually.
During my work as the software/system architect
for Random Logic I have wrote, adapted and designed the company's platform architecture and provided requirements for the R&D that included both technical and design specifications.
I have led a major redesign effort to the company's software and systems in order to increase the products reliability, functionality and performance. The redesign was done in incremental steps so as not to harm existing systems and to break it into small, easily manageable projects. I have successfully led multiple development teams through the development process as their technical manager to a successful on-time delivery. As a direct result of my work it is much easier (and faster) today to insert additional functionality, support a larger amount of users therefore directly affecting the company's ability to generate new income.

In addition, I researched new technologies and looked for the best adoption practices for use within the company's products all while making sure that the current products and technologies do not break.
