What advice do you have for someone who wants a job like yours ?

Read a great deal, and think about what it takes to save, and make a lot of money. Sharpen your listening skills. When you sit down to speak with people about their finances, one must remember it is a very crucial, and sensitive subject. Then again it is also simple, if you ask the right questions, you will get direct answers.

Who was your most influential mentor and what did they teach you ?

Honestly: The Bible, and exbiker who has been my friend since 1999. He taught me that rich or poor, everybody wants to be loved, and everyone has to eat. All people have a biased view/ a priori outlook towards all things. Within 66 books I find principals that companies model themselves after. Trust Honesty Integrity Truth Respect Financial Integrity Doing what is in the best interest of others.

What have your past employers loved about you ?

I can work with anyone, I love to smile, and I am genuine with consumers. The mindset I carry is what managers want, I don't complain: the company pays me for a service, and that is to work.

What advice do you have for someone looking for their first job out of college ?

Learn how to write a resume. Research the company you want to work for. Think of your first job like a wife or husband: what can you provide for that person. Think about what a company wants out of you, not what you want. Do not say in an interview: "I'm a hard worker."
