Managed RMA program as business unit‘s Service Manager. Responsible for the technical support of DPSS, gas and fiber based Class 3B/4 266nm – 1319nm lasers encompassing optical alignment, validation and fault resolution in a Class 100 cleanroom environment.

- Participated in the design and implementation of upgrades/modifications to CW, q-switched, fiber based and quasi-CW lasers.

- Performed various DOEs, to include ANOVA Gage R&Rs, SPC and t-tests for process and product capabilities.

- Designed and integrated into manufacturing multiple tooling Jigs and fixtures.

- Developed detailed capacity models to improve resource planning and manufacturing execution.

- Created and released multiple product optical alignment and test validation work instructions and SOPs.

Managed corporate laser safety program while maintaining OSHA, CDRH and internal audit compliance. Conceptualized and launched JDSU‘s 1st company-wide laser safety program. Trained 220 JDSU employees on laser and general workplace safety across 3 Business Units, subcontractors and external Contract Manufacturers. Performed safety risk assessments for all lab and workspace designs. Managed the procurement, issuance and inspection of all Personal Protective Equipment.
